Caribbean Netherlands
(Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba)
The Caribbean Netherlands consists of three special municipalities of Bonaire, Saba, and Sint Eustatius. While considered a part of the Netherlands, the Caribbean Netherlands has an independent trademark system. Bonaire is located off the coast of Venezuela and near Curacao and Aruba. Saba and Sint Eustatius are located farther northeast and much closer to Sint Maarten. Tourism is the major industry in the Caribbean Netherlands.

Trademarks and service marks are eligible for registration in the Caribbean Netherlands. The following rules and regulations apply:
Prior use: None required
Classification: Nice Classification
Registration term: 10 years from the date of filing and renewable for 10 year periods
Non-use vulnerability: 5 years
Madrid Protocol
Caribbean Netherlands is a party to the Madrid Protocol.
