Trademarks are eligible for registration in the Bahamas, but service marks are not eligible. The following rules and regulation apply:
Prior Use: None required
Classification: Local classification (goods only and single class filing only)
Registration Term: 14 years from the date of filing and renewable for 14 year periods
International priority: Available
Non-use vulnerability: 5 years
